Welcome to the Living Landscapes historic photograph archive featuring photographs of the Thompson/Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. These photographs have been drawn from various custodians: the Kelowna Museum, the Historic O'Keefe Ranch, (including photographs from the Okanagan Indian Band), the En'Owkin Centre, and the Okanagan Centre Museum.

SchoolNet Digital Collections: The development of this collection of photographs for the Information Highway was made possible through a contract with Industry Canada.

Living Landscapes: The Living Landscapes website, a joint initiative of the Royal British Columbia Museum and Okanagan University College, presents the natural and human history of the southern interior of British Columbia, Canada. The website also features research and researchers from a wide variety of disciplines. A goal of Living Landscapes is to make educational materials available to educators and the public and allow these groups to communicate with persons actively involved in research. The Historic Photograph Project Team (1997): This project was conceived, developed, and implemented by Duane Thomson, Ph.D, Human History Consultant to the website, Carol Thomson, BEd , MLS, Living Landscapes Coordinator, and Alan Paeth, Ph.D, database design, system architect and website administrator. Students and youth who were instrumental in the successful development of the project were: Greg Hyslop, Manager; Jeff Van Dyk, Assistant Manager/Technical Consultant; and team members: Tara Lubbers, Teri Coady, and Marie-Claude Côté.
