St. Cuthbert's Anglican Parish of Princeton, formed in 1911, has not had a resident Anglican minister since ca. 1968. When it became a "shared" Anglican-United Church ministry. In 1971, its congregation merged with that of St. Paul's United Church. Since 1984, Anglican clergy have evidently stopped ministering to St. Cuthbert's, although Anglican clergy may still give baptism and confirmation services. All Anglican parish funds since that time have gone to St. Paul's United Church. St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church is located on Billiter Street in Princeton. |
| Summary |
Records of St Cuthbert's Anglican Parish of Princeton, also serving Coalmont and Copper Mountain, 1917-1981 include: register of services held 1917-1941, with notations on amount of offerings and themes of special services; baptism registers, 1940-1984; financial reports, ca. 1955-1971; marriage registers, 1955-1981; confirmation registers, 1978-1984; and a short history of St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church which practiced inter-denominational co-operation with St. Paul's United Church of Princeton, 1971-1984.
