Bio/hist Note The Arena was built in 1974 with two thirds of the funding coming from the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen and the remainder from Municipality of Princeton. The Recreation Director is responsible to the Arena Board Chairman, who is an alderman and reports to the municipality and the regional district. The municipality is responsible for the operating expenses; the Regional District owns the building.

Bio/hist Note The first fire protection was provided by the Princeton Land Development Company. The Princeton Volunteer fire brigade was formed in 1906 and was reconstituted in 1930. First fire truck purchased in 1946 and first fire hall built on Bridge Street in 1948.
