Project Objectives Study Area

 

1.1 Project Objectives:

To identify and describe rare, threatened and endangered species and habitats in the Columbia Basin.

To increase awareness about, and importance of protecting rare, threatened, and endangered spaces and species by presenting information in a user-friendly format that is easily accessible and suitable for a wide audience including educators, decision-makers and the public.

To make information on rare, threatened and endangered spaces and species broadly available to citizens of the Columbia basin through development of website materials and content.

To contribute information to the preparation of educational materials (edu-kits, curriculum material, interpretation programming) on the vulnerability, role and importance of rare, threatened and endangered spaces and species in the Columbia Basin.
